Thank You!
Once again I came home with 2 trophies. The Stylus Awards was a success considering there was a major power blowout while DJ 2ndnature was tearing it up on the DVD mix. Other than that, ain't nothing better than having probably the best DJ's in the world in one room! Thanks to all that voted and supported the mixtapes!
Speaking of mixtapes, working on another Hipster style with DJ Benzi & Mick Boogie and also a fun 80's one with DJ OB-1 from Vegas! Watch out for Mashed Potatoes 4, and if you've slept on the older ones.. www.babyyu.com/podcast
So my going away party, everyone is invited!! This is London Club in Toronto on June 23rd. All sorts of celebrity guest DJ's and artists will be in the house, but then again this party is about me so screw them..lol.. I'll see you there and tell a friend!

Lil' Wayne "The Carter III Ok so it's the long awaited album by Lil' Wayne. As a DJ, I'm still confused about how he dissed all of us, but just for you I'll still play his stuff. I mean, I've witnessed OLD WHITE WOMEN dancing to the song LOLLIPOP?!?! According to my secret sources the song killed every Hip Hop station and every cross over cheese radio stations in the US making him the biggest add week that a hip-hop artist has received at Rhythm Crossover and the biggest any artist has received at Urban Radio including Beyonce and Mariah. Yep so if Lil' Wayne can do that, then I guess I'll forgive him and also on behalf of all the other mixtape DJ's you haved dissed around the world..LOL..no but for real, had the LP for like 2 weeks before the release today (probably why wayne was pissed off at mixtape DJ's) and it's dope. He already released like 3-4 songs off the album before it came out so you people probably have a gist of how it goes. Good friend of mine was raving about the Wayne & Jay song, but I just think it's OK. Go get the album it's gonna go platinum quick, even your mother is buying it!
USHER "HERE I STAND" The upcoming LP by Usher, Here I Stand, is his follow-up to his history-making, nine-times platinum-selling Confessions. You have to understand that, in this day in age to go almost DIAMOND aka ten-times platinum, is almost impossible considering the bootlegging and illegal downloads on the net. Love In This Club is a huge hit we all know that, but I was worried with the other leaked songs that came out after that, and didn't think he can top his last LP. After listening to his LP I kinda changed my mind. It's totally different from his young club style LP's and more of a mature good easy listening LP. He collaborated with Jay-Z, Will.I.Am, Beyonce and Lil' Wayne, so majority were solos which was cool. Songs that I enjoyed are "This Ain't Sex", "Best Thing" feat. Jay-Z, "His Mistakes", & "What's A Man To Do". Enjoyable album, support it!
MARIAH CAREY "E=MC2" So did she really get married to Nick Cannon? Anyways...Mariah is the most successful female artist of all time hitting over 160 million career sales worldwide. This is her 11th LP, meaning another couple million under her belt. We all know the song 'Touch My Body', but my fav has to be 'Migrate' with T-Pain. It's unfortunate that most of y'all wont be able to hear or get a hold of all the remixes she's done already. 'Touch My Body' alone has 3 different ones, Rick Ross & The Dream version, R. Kelly Version and a Cam'Rom Version, all like-able. 'Bye Bye' Remix features Jay-Z & Jermaine Dupri. Overall a great album, go ahead and buy and don't boot!
